BEWITAL Pet Food Project Progressing Steadily in Weihai, Expected to Launch Production Within the Year

Since BEWITAL, the German pet food company, officially signed an agreement in October 2024 to establish its first China-based facility in the Weihai Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the project has been progressing smoothly.

As of early 2025, the Weihai Municipal Government and the Bonded Zone Management Committee have continued to provide strong policy and logistical support, helping the company resolve supply chain coordination and regulatory matters to ensure efficient implementation.

The factory’s layout and interior renovations have been largely completed, and installation of production lines and related facilities is currently underway. The project is expected to begin operations within the year, strengthening Weihai’s position as a hub for premium pet food manufacturing.
